As the heat of summer intensifies, both body and mind can become overstimulated, fatigued, or agitated. Cooling the Fire is a deeply calming restorative yoga workshop designed to balance the natural intensity of the season. Inspired by Ayurvedic principles that recognize summer as a time of heightened Pitta (the fire element), this practice invites you to slow down, release internal heat, and cultivate a sense of ease and spaciousness.
This workshop will incorporate:
Gentle, fully supported restorative postures to soothe the nervous system infused with crystal singing bowls
Cooling pranayama (breathing techniques)
Aromatherapy with peppermint and lavender to refresh the senses
Guided meditation to quiet the mind and encourage inner stillness
A short EFT Tapping session
A nurturing, serene atmosphere with dim lighting, soft music, and chilled herbal towels
