You can with the Repairative Yoga Immersion – 20‑hour deep dive
This immersive program offers a transformative 20‑hour journey into Repairative (restorative) yoga, designed to cultivate profound relaxation, self-awareness, and healing. Through guided, long-held poses, you'll learn techniques that ease nervous system tension, enhance flexibility, and reduce stress. The immersion blends experiential practice with thoughtful instruction—covering breath-work, somatic awareness, and the therapeutic use of self contact—to deepen the mind–body connection.
Repairative being a type of yoga that utilizes the effectiveness of self-contact within the yoga postures in order to best self-assist, deepen, and soothe one’s whole “personal ecosystem” of mind, body, spirit and emotions.
I attribute this direct self-contact to why there is increased transferability of skills learned on the mat to take into the world due to greater self-agency that is being developed.

Day 1: Friday, September 26th 12:00-4:00pm
Building Enhanced Trust with Yourself and Your Practice: Deepening Your Body’s Role as Leader. On day one, the focus is on exercises to strengthen the yoga practitioner’s self-bond. The personal accomplishment of fostering new levels of self-trust is prioritized for maximum gain and traction forward with the practice and training.
Day 2: Saturday, September 27th 10:00am-6:00pm
Becoming More BOLD in Your Practice: On day two, we tap into the full breadth of what it means to be fully human and alive through exploration of more solo, paired, and group exercises. We also learn to address what’s in the room for all practitioners in a more connective way: becoming more transparent with our experience so that we are kindling inclusivity when we practice and/or facilitate, and promoting courage-taking for all.
Day 3: Sunday, September 28th 10:00am-6:00pm
Unifying Ourselves for Greater Resilience on and off the Mat: This day calls on experiential role play of principles discussed at the start of the session. We identify where we might get hung up in our lives, and therefore on the mats. This helps us to secure greater planning for being accessible to ourselves first before anyone else. When we heighten our self-knowledge, as is earned through yogic self-study, we are more liberated to live free inside and out.
Investment:
3 Day Option: $800 / 2 Day Option: $534 / 1 Day Option: $267

F A Q
What’s the difference between this form of Yoga and most?
We are heavy on self-care. Our Yoga isn’t focused on athletics or being performative. Actually, the body metabolizes best when in the rest and digest branch of the autonomic nervous system.
What else do I need to know about this Yoga Practice?
Simply put, being sensitive isn’t something that can be taught because it is an internal process that needs to be learned from within. Being informed isn’t enough in order to build necessary integrated and compassionate understanding. The Repairative Yoga facilitator is required to learn how to navigate discomfort and challenging sensation in response to one’s changing personal experience.
What is the difference between a Yoga Instructor, Yoga Teacher, and Yoga Facilitator?
A Yoga Instructor gives you instructions on how to practice postures. A Yoga Teacher gives you instructions on how to practice postures, and tells you the benefits as to why you are doing them. A Yoga Facilitator tells you instructions for the postures being practiced, plus the benefits, and shares all of the above in a way that facilitates dynamic exploration, and activates self-determination, for each participant. This approach effectively increases the transferability of Yoga skills that are learned on the mat in order to bring them into everyday life.
Why should I try something new?
History has it that yoga was created by men for men only, and in 1939 the first female eventually, after foreign intervention was allowed to study alongside the well-known names, Iyengar and Jois. However, Indra Devi brought yoga to the United States first before anyone else did. She reshaped parts of what she had learned of the practice in order to make it more accessible for Americans through her teaching and her book, Yoga for Americans. This was nine years before Iyengar even arrived on U.S. soil to share the health modality of yoga. It was an important life mission for her to make yoga more accessible for North Americans back in the 1940s. Well, that was nearly a hundred years ago, and yoga has evolved massively since then!
From 2005 to now, Jo has worked to bring a more full self-
inclusive approach to the yoga mat practice.
We hope you enjoy learning about Repairative Yoga!
